Hi there,

We’ve implemented a powerful update to give you total control over your compositions: Advanced Image Controls.

When using "Cover" mode, automatic centering doesn't always capture the perfect angle. Now, you can fine-tune your visuals with precision, ensuring the most important parts of your photos are always front and center.

What’s New?

  • Precision Alignment Tools: Manually override default centering to highlight specific details in your images.
  • Manual Positioning Mode: A new, intuitive way to interact with your assets directly on the canvas for instant feedback.
  • Zoom & Offset Sliders: Granular control over scale and positioning, allowing for pixel-perfect adjustments within the properties panel.

How It Works

There are two ways to perfectly position your image when using the Cover fitting mode:

Method 1: Using the Properties Panel

Select your image layer and navigate to the Image Alignment section on the right-hand panel:

  1. Zoom (%): Increase the percentage to zoom in on a specific detail.
  2. Offset X (%): Adjust the slider to move the image horizontally.
  3. Offset Y (%): Adjust the slider to move the image vertically.

Method 2: Direct Canvas Interaction

For a more fluid workflow, you can manipulate the image directly:

  1. Double-click the image layer on the canvas to enter manual positioning mode.
  2. Click and drag the image within the red bounding box to reposition it.
  3. Click outside the image area to save your position and exit the mode.

Now you can confidently use any photo, knowing you have the tools to make it fit your design perfectly!
