We’ve just given one of our oldest features a massive makeover! Originally introduced years ago, the Text auto resize feature has been a bit limited until now.

We’ve completely rebuilt it to give you total control over how your copy fits your designs, ensuring your banners look professional no matter how much the text length varies.

What’s Improved?

Abyssale now offers a full suite of presets and constraints to help you maintain layout harmony automatically:

• Three New Resize Presets: Choose exactly how your text reacts. Use Shrink to fit to scale down only when needed, Always fit to dynamically fill the container, or Keep text size for strict brand consistency.
• Max Lines Control: You can now define a maximum line limit to prevent long copy from expanding vertically and breaking your layout.
• Visual Text Harmony: This smart feature ensures line lengths are similar (within a 20% variance), micro-adjusting character spacing and font size to create a perfectly balanced "block" of text.
• Smart Truncation: As a final fallback, you can enable Truncate text to automatically add an ellipsis (...) if the copy simply cannot fit after all resizing attempts.

How to Use It

1. Select a Text or Call to Action layer in the Design Builder.
2. In the right-hand settings panel, toggle Text auto resize to ON.
3. Choose your Type (Preset) from the dropdown menu.
4. Expand Additional constraints to fine-tune your Max lines, Harmony, or Truncation preferences.

Now you can confidently iterate on your designs, knowing your message will always fit perfectly!
