Hi there,

We’ve all been there, you move an element or change a color and immediately wish you hadn't.

While our Undo feature has always been there to save you from mistakes, we know how frustrating it was when you couldn't quickly re-apply an action you accidentally reversed. No more "shame" in the editing process! We’re thrilled to announce that Redo has officially arrived in the Abyssale Design Editor, giving you total freedom to experiment and move back and forth through your creative decisions.

What’s New?

  • Full Edit History: You are no longer limited to just going backward. With the addition of Redo, you can now toggle between different states of your design to compare changes and find the perfect look.
  • Smoother Workflow: Whether you’re fine-tuning a layout or testing different brand colors, the ability to both undo and redo ensures your design process is faster and more forgiving.
  • Session-Based Tracking: The editor now maintains a history of your changes during your current session, allowing you to "travel back in time" and forward again with ease.

How It Works

You can manage your edits using the visual toolbar or power through your work with keyboard shortcuts.

Using the Toolbar At the top of your screen in the Design Editor, you will find two curved arrows located right in the center of the main Toolbar:

  1. Undo (Left Arrow): Reverses your last action.
  2. Redo (Right Arrow): Re-applies an action you just undid.

Using Keyboard Shortcuts For a faster workflow, manage your edits without ever moving your mouse:

  • To Undo an action:
    Windows: Press Ctrl + Z
    macOS: Press ⌘ Command + Z
  • To Redo an action:
    Windows: Press Ctrl + Shift + Z
    macOS: Press ⌘ Command + Shift + Z

Now you can confidently iterate on your designs, knowing that every move you make can be perfectly managed!
