  • side_border_thickness: (number)
  • side_border_padding: (number)
  • side_border_color: (string) Hex code

Hi there,

We're bringing the creative power of our AI directly to your automated workflows! Previously, generating unique images from text prompts was a feature exclusive to the Design Editor.

Now, we've unlocked this capability for the API, allowing you to generate AI imagery programmatically at scale. Whether you need dynamic backgrounds or unique assets for thousands of variations, you can now drive it all with code.

What's New?

  • API-Driven Generation: Trigger AI image creation directly through your API calls, bypassing the need for manual editor work.
  • Full Automation: Seamlessly integrate AI image generation into your bulk creation workflows, allowing for infinite creative variations without human intervention.
  • Simple Implementation: Just add a few lines to your JSON payload to define your prompt.

How to Use It

  1. Identify the image layer you want to modify in your design.
  2. In your API payload, target that layer within the elements object.
  3. Add the text_to_image attribute and define your prompt inside it.

Here is an example of the payload structure:

{
"elements": {
"image_0": {
"text_to_image": "An house in the woods with a wheat field nearby"
}
}
}

Guillaume avatar
Shared by Guillaume • December 09, 2025

Hi there,

We know that running out of credits in the middle of a high-volume campaign or an important automation workflow is a major headache.

That’s why we’ve introduced Auto-Recharge, a "set it and forget it" feature designed to keep your production running smoothly, no matter how many visuals you generate.

What's New?

  • Uninterrupted Generation: You can now configure your workspace to automatically purchase additional credits whenever your balance runs low.
  • Custom Thresholds: You have full control. You decide the credit balance that triggers a recharge (e.g., when you drop below 100 credits).
  • Flexible Amounts: Choose exactly how many credits you want to top up (e.g., add 500, 1,000, or more) to match your monthly consumption needs.

How to Use It

Setting up your safety net is quick and easy:

  1. Go to your Settings and select the Billing tab.
  2. Scroll down to the Credits section.
  3. Toggle on Auto-recharge.
  4. Define your Minimum balance (the trigger) and your Recharge amount (what gets added).

Customizable Low Credit Alerts & Notifications

Guillaume avatar
Shared by Guillaume • December 01, 2025

Hi there,

We’re introducing a crucial update to help you maintain seamless production flows: Custom Low Credit Alerts!

We know how critical it is to keep your automations running without interruption. To prevent unexpected errors or stopped campaigns, we’ve built a notification system that warns you before your workspace runs empty. Now, you can proactively manage your usage and ensure your workflows never skip a beat.

What's New?

  • Customizable Thresholds: You now have full control to define exactly when you want to be notified. You can set specific alert triggers for both Generation credits and AI credits based on your team's needs.
  • Total Credit Monitoring: The alert system intelligently calculates your Total Remaining Credits, summing up both your monthly base plan and any non-expiring additional credits, so you only receive an alert when your actual total capacity is running low.
  • Admin-Focused Notifications: To ensure the right people are informed, these alerts are sent exclusively to Workspace Owners and Admins, allowing for immediate action on billing or top-ups.

How to Configure Your Alerts

Setting up your safety net is quick and easy:

  1. Navigate to Settings: Go to your Workspace settings in the bottom left or account menu.
  2. Select Notifications: Click on the Notifications & alerts tab in the sidebar.
  3. Set Your Limits: Scroll down to the Credits email alerts configuration section. Enter the number of remaining credits at which you want to receive an email for both Generation and AI credits.
  4. Save: Click Save changes to activate your alerts.

Say goodbye to unexpected production stops and enjoy total peace of mind managing your workspace!

Streamline Your Workflow: Import Images Directly from URLs!

Guillaume avatar
Shared by Guillaume • November 28, 2025

Hi there,

We’re thrilled to roll out a time-saving update to the Media Importer that simplifies how you manage assets: Direct URL Importing!

Previously, using an external image meant downloading it to your device and then re-uploading it to Abyssale. Now, you can bypass that step entirely. This update allows you to import images directly from an external source using a link, speeding up your creation process whether you are in the Design Editor or generating variations.

What's New?

  • Direct Access: Import via URL: Simply paste a direct public link to add images or logos to your asset library immediately.
  • Workflow Integration: Available Everywhere: You can access the URL importer in the Design Editor, during Spreadsheet Generation, and within Quick Generation forms.
  • Format Support: Broad Compatibility: The importer supports HTTPS links for JPEG, PNG, and WEBP files up to 20MB.

How to Use It

Using the new importer is quick and intuitive:

  1. Open the Media Importer: Click on "Select image" or "Replace default file" on any image layer.
  2. Select the Source: Click on the URL tab in the left-hand sidebar.
  3. Paste and Go: Paste your direct image link (ensure it is publicly accessible) into the text field.
  4. Import: Click Import, and the image will immediately replace your selected layer.

Enjoy a faster, smoother asset management experience!

Smoother Transitions: Easing for Fade Effects is Here!

Guillaume avatar
Shared by Guillaume • November 28, 2025

Hi there,

We’re excited to bring a highly-requested improvement to your animation toolkit! You can now apply Easing Curves to your Fade effects, giving you precise control over how your elements appear and disappear.

Previously, easing was limited to Slide, Scaling & rotation. This update ensures your opacity transitions can be just as dynamic and polished as the rest of your motion design, moving beyond standard linear fades.

What's New?

  • Easing for Opacity: You are no longer restricted to linear transparency changes. You can now apply easing presets (like Circ.InOut) to your Fade animations.
  • Professional Polish: Make your elements fade in with a smooth acceleration or fade out with a dramatic curve. This adds a level of nuance that makes your creatives feel more premium and "alive."

How to Use It

  1. Select the layer you want to animate in the Design Editor.
  2. Add a Fade effect (or select an existing one) from the Animation panel.
  3. In the Animation panel on the right, click the easing dropdown menu within the Fade effect settings to select your desired curve.

Bring some smoothness to your designs today!

Precise Control: Introducing Independent Anchors for Scale Animations!

Guillaume avatar
Shared by Guillaume • November 21, 2025

Hi there,

We’ve implemented a small but mighty improvement to the Design Builder to give you more precision over your motion effects!

We know that previously, the origin of a Scale animation was strictly tied to the alignment of your layer (for example, a centered text layer would always scale from the center).

We've now decoupled these settings, giving you the freedom to define your animation origin independently of your layout.

What's Improved?

  • Independent Anchor Control: You now have a dedicated Anchor parameter within the Scale animation settings. This allows you to define exactly where the scale effect will occur on the layer.
  • Greater Flexibility: You can now keep your layer aligned exactly how you want it on the canvas (e.g., left-aligned) while having it scale from the center, the corner, or any other point you choose.

How to Use It

  1. Select the layer you wish to animate in the Design Builder.
  2. In the animation panel, add or edit a Scale effect.
  3. Locate the new Anchor grid selector.
  4. Simply click on one of the 9 points on the grid to set the origin point for your scaling effect.

Enjoy this new level of precision in your animated designs!
