Meet the new Buildings tab: Know what your changes will do

Hi there,

If you manage buildings in the admin portal, there's a good chance, there's a good chance you've sent us a building change request at some point. Not because the tools weren't there, but because a mistake stayed invisible until it was already live, making changes invisible and scary. Office Records gave you a clearer view of what's happening with bookings. The Buildings tab now does the same for the building itself.

Every change starts as a draft

Edit at your own pace, over several days if you need to. Your changes go into a draft that only you and your fellow admins can see, so employees keep using the published building until you decide to publish.

A full history, with names on it

Always know what changed and who changed it. Every edit session is recorded by day, our own edits stay labeled separately from yours, and you can roll the draft back to any earlier point or discard it completely. No support ticket needed.

See the impact before you publish

This is the part we're most pleased with. Before you confirm, you see everything that changed, anything blocking you in plain language, and who it affects: how many reservations will be canceled, and which sensors, kiosks, controls, and app links need attention. No more finding out afterward.

Nothing stays quietly broken

After publishing, anything still pointing at a location that no longer exists gets surfaced where you work. You can fix it yourself instead of hearing about it from an employee three weeks later.

Ready to try it? Open the Buildings tab and start a draft. Or read up on drafts, reviewing, and publishing in our help center.
