Choose when a Downtime Template creates an Assignment

Different stops need different follow-up. Set an Assignment Creation Policy on each Downtime Template to control whether it creates an Assignment when used in RideOps.
- Inherit follows your organization’s Downtime Settings.
- Create creates an Assignment using the template’s configuration.
- Do not create starts the Downtime without an Assignment.
Who it’s for: Administrators configuring Downtime Templates for RideOps.
The policy also affects whether the Downtime is Blocking. Check your reopening settings when using Do not create; this option does not automatically give Operators permission to reopen the ride.
