We've rolled out an update to make editing information more intuitive and consistent.
Here's what's new:

✏️ Edit Instantly (No "Edit Mode")

You no longer need to enter a separate "edit mode." Simply hover over a data field to see a pencil icon or over an entity in the ownership chart to see a +. Just click to start editing!

📍 Consistent Action Buttons

All actions for a section (like adding, editing, or resetting data) are now neatly grouped in the top-right corner, so you always know where to look.

✍️ New Side Panel for Edits

Edits now open in a clean side panel. This new panel also lets you add an optional comment to explain the reason for your edit, improving your audit trail. (Note: This is now live for beneficial owners and company info, with more sections to follow!)

🔄 One Toggle to View Changes

Instead of separate toggles in each section, there is now one single switch in the page header. This makes it much easier to flip between the "Original" and "Edited" data for the entire page at once.

We hope these improvements make your workflow faster and smoother!

We have done a small adjustment to how we identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) for Norwegian foundations (Stiftelser), associations (Foreninger/lag/innretning), and housing cooperatives (Boligbyggelag).

This change is being made to align our methodology more closely with official anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines. Before, we consider the following roles to be UBOs for these entity types:

• General Manager / CEO (Daglig leder)
• Chairperson (Styrets leder)
• Deputy Chairperson (Nestleder)
• Board Member (Styremedlem)
• Deputy Board Member (Varamedlem)
• Board Observer (Observatør)

Now, the list of roles automatically identified as UBOs is updated to only include:

• General Manager / CEO (Daglig leder)
• Chairperson (Styrets leder)
• Deputy Chairperson (Nestleder)
• Board Member (Styremedlem)

This means that Deputy Board Members (Varamedlem) and Board Observers (Observatør) will no longer be automatically flagged as UBOs.

Edit functionality for Beneficial Owners is now available 🎉

With our latest release you can now:

• Add new beneficial owners without ownership from the list view
• Add / remove beneficial owner status from owners in the list view
• Remove beneficial owner status from owners in the ownership chart
• Improved explainability and user control when editing beneficial owner status

We’ll continue improving explainability and user flow in the next iteration.

We've just launched Street View on the entity page to give you another layer of insight in your due diligence process.

You can now visually investigate a company's address. Is it a credible office building, a private residence, or an empty lot? Use Street View to get a better sense of the company you are investigating.

You'll find the new feature on all company entity pages with a registered address.

We have done a lot of work "under the hood" to give you more relevant hits.

✨ For all Strise Users:

• AMS is now available in the Entity page (not just in Review).
• More relevant hits: We have cleaned up the data foundation, which gives you more precise search results.
• New filters: You can now filter your search results based on name, topics, and relevance to find what you are looking for faster.
• Add events: You can add your own AMS-articles to include them in the pdf-report.

⚙️ For Managers (Strise Admins):

We have launched a brand new page for AMS settings! You can now customize the screening by adjusting:

• Language
• Article Validity Period: 1–5 years back in time (3 years is set as default)
• Custom Keywords
• News Sources

We're excited to release a simple but highly-requested improvement: you can now rearrange the layout of the ownership chart!

How it works:
Simply click, hold, and drag any owner's box to a new position.

The Benefit:
Previously, in larger or more complex ownership charts, percentages could sometimes be hidden by overlapping boxes. Now, you can easily solve this by rearranging the layout to get a perfectly clear view.
