Users have reported that viewers were receiving a green or black stream when running 10-bit 4:2:2 sessions. This issue was introduced by a previous Chrome build. We have worked with Google to resolve the issue in the latest update. In order to resolve this issue please ensure all viewers update their Chrome browser to the latest version.
Please note, we were previously advising users to turn off hardware acceleration as a temporary workaround for this issue. If you turned this off in your Chrome settings, you can now turn this back on.
Users are reporting that they are receiving a green or black stream when viewing 10-bit 4:2:2 sessions. We have identified that this issue is related to changes in the latest version of Chrome (versions 123.0.6312 and above). At this time, the issue seems isolated to Mac computers using M series hardware.
We are working with Google to rectify this issue. In the meantime, if you are experiencing this issue, please turn off Hardware Acceleration in your Google Chrome settings.
To enhance the quality of your service, we are performing essential maintenance on our core network infrastructure from the 6th - 8th Feb.
The maintenance will occur during specific downtime windows, which are determined by the location of your service—specifically, the region where your Flexbox and Flex media servers are hosted.
While we strive to minimize interruptions, please note that you will experience a 10-minute service outage during your maintenance window in your region.
If you have any concerns or need further information, feel free to reach out to our support team.
