When you request an absence, Calamari automatically enables an autoresponder in your Outlook mailbox. The reply includes your absence details and relevant dates. Once you return to work or cancel the request, the autoresponder turns off automatically.
This feature works for full-day absences only. Remote work requests won’t trigger the autoresponder.
Current Microsoft 365 integration users can enable this option in their settings, while new users will have it activated by default.

Following feedback from organizations where employees accidentally creating duplicate entries was causing headaches, we've added a feature that spots duplicate attendance entries when you're adding records.
The system checks for duplicates whether you're adding a single day or multiple days of attendance. Instead of blocking these duplicates (since some of you need this flexibility for overtime management), we simply alert you about potential duplications so you can decide what's appropriate in your situation.
Set rules that guide your employees to use primary leave types before secondary ones. For example, prompt your team to use available vacation days before requesting unpaid leave.
Simply configure your leave type policy to check balances of specific absence types and guide employees accordingly.
If you delete a linked absence type, the restriction is automatically removed to maintain your data integrity.
To set it up, go to Configuration -> Absence types -> Edit absence type -> Restrictions.
Now, your employees can easily clock in and out by simply scanning NFC tags with their cards or keytags, providing an additional time-tracking option alongside our existing QR code system. Users can seamlessly switch between QR code and NFC scanning modes based on their preference or workplace setup.
For administrators, we've made implementation straightforward: NFC functionality can be enabled or disabled in the app settings according to your organization's needs.
